Sandy Engelberth, Au.D. Doctor of Audiology Location: American Hearing Center, Inc. Dr. Engelberth founded American Hearing Center in 1998. She is a graduate of Ball State University and obtained her doctorate from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Engelberth has lived in the Warsaw area most of her life. “I have always desired to establish a clinic in our community that would raise the standard of care for hearing-impaired persons. We are a resource for families, schools, employers and the medical community. When we help someone to hear better, it has a profound effect on their personal life as well as their family and friends. I love what I do!” Dr. Engelberth lives in Warsaw with her husband and daughter.
Dawn-Marie Bass Doctor of Audiology Dr. Bass joined American Hearing Center in 2005. She completed her graduate work at Purdue University. Her doctorate was obtained from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. “My most gratifying personal and professional experience has been adopting a daughter with hearing loss. My daughter wears a hearing aid and a cochlear implant. Through raising her, I’ve gained a mother’s perspective of the effects of hearing loss, and I’ve seen the tremendous benefit of digital amplification.” Dr. Bass lives in Warsaw with her husband and three children.
